Our way of life in Jonesboro is not what it used to be, right? Sadly, real problems that affect our daily life are neglected – and have been for too many years. The reality is that our city’s potential is untapped.
My aim is to take back our city from ineffective leadership and return power to the people of Jonesboro where it belongs.
Together, we will work towards a future of safety, prosperity, and community.
We will work tirelessly to put the well-being of YOU, the residents of Jonesboro, first and foremost in all that we do.
We will work to run drug dealers and criminals out of our schools and our neighborhoods by enforcing strict penalties.
From day one, we will create total transparency and accountability with YOUR money and eliminate wasteful tax-dollar spending. You could end up paying less and enjoy a better quality of life.
We will work to throw out the slum lords and clean up housing projects that invite sleazy and seedy drug dealers, thieves, and sexual predators into our community.
It is time to put YOU – the residents of Jonesboro – ahead of politics, elite agendas, and back-door deals that only benefit a select few.
Together, we can usher in a new era of accountability, safety, and prosperity. We can return Jonesboro to the safe haven it used to be.

My experience is crucial. I understand the impact of crime and safety, management of taxpayers’ money, the need to improve housing, and demand for stronger leadership.
I invite you to look around. Based on what Jonesboro is today versus what it used to be, the current mayor is simply not doing enough to address crime, safety, and the wellbeing of every resident in our city.
I’m running for Mayor of Jonesboro to fight for the prosperity of EVERYONE. As they say, a rising tide raises all ships. We will work to lift you and your neighbor and everyone in our city.
To do that, I will work tirelessly to turn the tide of crime, drugs, and financial mismanagement that is slowly eating away at Jonesboro and putting us on track to lose our peaceful city.

I’m Jeremy Terrell, a true Jonesboro native who’s seen our town through the eyes of a child, a worker, and now, a leader ready to serve.
Growing up here, I cherished every moment—from the Indian mall days to the transformation of downtown. ASU ball games to 4th of Julys in the park. Skiing on Craighead Lake to Munchy’s cheese sticks.
My journey took me far, managing big projects and leading teams of hundreds. But my heart never left Jonesboro.
Like you, I’ve noticed that Jonesboro is not what it used to be. In the past decade, we’ve nearly doubled in size… and sadly, we’ve almost doubled in drug problems, violent crimes, poor school test scores, poor housing, and dropped in our overall quality of life.
